Each Peach Pear Plum by Allan Ahlberg and Janet Ahlberg, it holds a dear place in my heart. As a child growing up, I remember both of my parents, reading it to me but more so the beautiful illustrations. (As my fellow thesp friends shake their head) My first memory of theatre was seeing a musical, and was transported to a different world, combined with my Grand Parents, listening to big band / orchestrated music…..what do you expect. I will boast having the largest musicals playlist on Spotify!! Ha.
