What is the most important ingredient in your stone soup?”

There are three key ingredients in my “Stone Soup”. I believe that Fun is one of the most important things to bring to any session or creative environment. I work best when it doesn’t feel like I’m working, when my ideas and creativity flow and when I have a smile on my face!

My second ingredient is Concentration: this is key when pushing a piece of creative work from average to excellent. Fun and concentration may seem like opposites, but when they are brought together the results can be amazing.

The final ingredient is Bravery. I work best when I am out of my comfort zone. The opportunity to make mistakes should be celebrated as this is the best route to professional and personal improvement.

“If you had to preserve one story in a time capsule for your children, what would it be and why?”

I would probably tell them about how myself and my wife have managed to stay together since we were 15 years old. The reason that we have done this is not because we have been sprinkled with magic Disney dust but because we know that if something is worth keeping then it is worth working for. Relationships with anyone take a certain amount of work and give and take. Anything in life that is worth doing takes work and commitment and usually the more worth wile it is the more hard work it takes to achieve it.

"What's your guilty pleasure?"

My guilty pleasure would have to be dressing up, I love to teach in role and take on different characters to use within sessions. I think that my best sessions are the ones where I am having fun and laughing. Sometimes I find myself in schools dressed in the most ridiculous costumes teaching young people and I think its brilliant!

"In three words, how would your family and friends describe you?"

 "Loyal, conscientous, silly"
