Headspace nominated in the National Diversity Awards

on 04 Aug 2016

Stone Soup are delighted that the National Diversity Awards have seen fit to recognise the success of Headspace over the past year.

The ceremony for the National Diversity Awards will be held on Friday 16th September. A prestigious black tie event, the awards will recognise community organisations, charities and role models who help to empower communities and individuals alike.

The awards celebrate the values that our Headspace programme holds dear - equality, diversity, inclusion and the importance of creativity.

Philosophy For Children (P4C) does not refer to teaching children traditional philosophy, rather, it is a pedagogic approach developed by Mat Lipman that centres on teaching thinking skills and the ability to question and reason. It is a student-led, enquiry based approach to learning.
