Stone Soup offers business development and strategic planning services to a range of artistic and cultural organisations, whether it be schools, local authorities or community services.
Whether it's shaping artistic policy, identifying funding, or simply developing a new programme of work, we always bring valuable insight and experience gained from years spent working in the cultural sector.
Shaping an Artistic Future
We help to shape the artistic vision and business strategy of our partners and collaborators. We have developed a number of bespoke projects with arts & community organisations. We help to develop arts offerings, shape new arts programmes and assist organisations to identify and secure new sources of funding.
We also pride ourselves on our ability to work within the arts community of Greater Manchester and the north-west, helping to bring together arts organisations, organising and promoting networking opportunities with the end goal of further strengthening the cultural infrastructure of the local area.
Cultural Education Challenge
Stone Soup is currently in the process of working closely with other organisations across Tameside to help implement The Cultural Education Challenge, a new initiative pioneered by Arts Council England. It is designed to bring the Cultural and Education sectors together to ensure that no child misses out on the chance to experience the arts, be it through performance, participation, composition or creation.
Local Education Partnerships
Stone Soup is set to play a key part in the Local Education Partnership scheme that was launched by Arts Council England in October 2015. As part of a wider plan to join up and improve cultural education for children and young people, LCEPs are the means by which the business, creative and public sectors hope to meet the Cultural Education Challenge outlined above.
Due to Tameside being one of the Arts Council's "focus" areas, Stone Soup will be working with our creative partners Curious Minds, as well as a broad range of organisations including private companies, local authorities, schools and music education.
We currently charge a daily rate of £250. Please contact Lee Brennan (email@example.com)to discuss further.
Stone Soup has public liability insurance up to the value of £5 million.
