These are our largest artistic partners, all of whom receive continuous portfolio funding from the Arts Council of England. These are organisations with deep roots in the communities across Greater Manchester and the North-West of England. We work predominantly with their outreach and participation departments to deliver creative projects, community arts programmes and fantastic events.
An organisation that shares our ethos for improving access to creative learning and innovation, we have collaborated with Curious Minds on a number of projects over the past three years.
Stone Soup works alongside the Lowry and other Salford community organisations to foster greater artistic links across the whole Greater Manchester area. We are currently working on a verbatim project that brings the stories of young carers living in Salford to the stage.
Stone Soup is very proud of our long-standing creative ties to the Octagon and we currently collaborate with them on a number of projects, including our acclaimed Headspace programme, as wel as our project with Bolton at Home, 'Melodramatics'. Our 'Act Out' programme has twice been offered a slot in the Octagon Theatre's new writing showcase 'Reveal'.
We are really proud to be one of the Royal Exchange's community links organisations, an initiative designed to work with communities and demographics who are under-represented in theatre, and who may face problems with social exclusion.
